Dogs in Israel
Its hard being a dog in Israel. Dogs don't particularly like the long hot summers that hit Israel each year. They are always searching for a cool shady corner, or to curl up in cozy part of an air conditioned room. Once the autumn arrives and the first rains wash away the dust of the long arid summer, the dogs begin to perk up and smile. They seem to have more energy and taking them for a walk is a lot more fun. Its strange but as the weather cools, most Israelis long for the spring and the next summer, whilst our canine friends and ex Brits jump for joy that cooler days have come. I personally really enjoy the long winter walks I take with my canine friends, and utilize the perfect conditions to train them. This is the best time in my opinion to join dog training classes, whilst the dogs are most perky and full of energy. Just remember, training dogs should be a positive and enjoyable experience, and I believe gentle and kind methods should be used.
