Dangerous drivers.
I was driving last night on the road that enters Modiin from Latrun side. Two raving maniacs overtook me on bends and just missed crashing into oncoming traffic. Why are there no police monitering this road? when will it finally become dual carrigway.? Why are dangerous drivers allowed to drive on our roads risking not only themselves, but all other road users. Perhaps dangerous drivers could be locked up with their own cars in the same cell, and that way the considerate drivers would be safer and there would be less traffic congestion!!!!!!!!!

Re: Dangerous drivers.
It happened again last night. I was driving down Nahar Hayarden street at a reasonable but safe speed, when a car zoomed past me, again overtaking on a bend and just missing an oncoming car. He turned left and headed for upper Buchman. Does this only happen to me? When will these potential murderers take note, and slow down. Its so frightening to think about children crossing roads when there are so many raving maniacs driving on our streets. Do these drivers not have children or family? Is it only over gravestones that they have a moment of regret, then they return to their cars, and let out all their pent up frustration trying to bury others!!!!!!

Re: Dangerous drivers.
I was walking down Nahal Naaman towards Yizhak Rabib Street in Modiin last Thursday, when a van drove past, slammed on its breaks, and screeched into the middle of Yizhak Rabin Street. Luckily there was no oncoming traffic, just shocked passers by. You can spend millions on changing road signs and junctions, but if the standard of driving is so abominable, the police so rarely seen, and the courts so lenient, accidents are going to continue, without relent, and not even dead bodies will make any difference.
