05-01-2006, 20:11 admin Joined on 08-26-2005 Posts 268 Rememberance day in Israel Today is remembrance day in Israel for its fallen soldiers and civilians killed in terror attacks. Nearly every one in Israel seems to  know someone who has been killed defending Israel's right to exist or murdered in a terrorist attack. At 11:00 this morning sirens will sound throughout Israel for two minutes to remember Israel's fallen. Only in Israel does remembrance day end and independence day celebrations begin. This is our way of life. In Israel we are always under the shadow of war and terrorism, and yet living in the land of Israel is the most wonderful fulfillment any Jewish person could dream of, and for this we celebrate.    Report
